VIP AREA SPARTAK
Spartak Moscow’s Stadium: the most elegant way to assist a football match It was one of the most challenging Paulo Antunes projects to this day. It was different, bigger,
mostly with custom-made products and for a new demanding market: Russia, making us even more proud of the result.
Spartak Moscow | Russia
All of those who are lucky enough to watch the home matches of one of Russia’s most important teams or even the country’s national team in the VIP Lounge Areas, they do it with all the comfort and surrounded by elegance.
The Otkritie Arena is a multi-purpose stadium north-west of Moscow, Russia, mainly used to host football matches from the Spartak Moscow team and occasionally the Russian national team.
This massive stadium is designed to fit around 45 thousand people and was one of the stadiums used during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup.
With a precinct area of 28.2 acres, this arena has its customers into consideration. The space tries to give visitors the best experience possible by holding
storage rooms, bars, registration for children, a lost and found office, navigation assistance from volunteers, 100 seats for people with disabilities and 48 VIP class zones.
Paulo Antunes was responsible for providing the furniture to all 48 lounge Vip Areas, making this one of our most significant projects to date. The VIP lodges, located on the third and the fourth levels of the Western tribune, were filled with
custom-made armchairs, chairs, sofas and bar shelves, executed with care and our best materials to bring maximum comfort to these spaces. The materials used were, for the most part, stained oak, leather, metal chrome glossy and red textured fabric.
The final result is exactly what you expect from a VIP area: a classic and elegant space with comfortable seats to watch all your favourite
games in a private and relaxing atmosphere. So, it comes as no surprise that the stadium won the nomination for Russia's best stadium in 2018.
